9th Wedding Anniversary Copper Flowers

Copper​ ​metal​ ​flowers,​ ​an​ ​everlasting​ ​hand​ ​crafted​ ​bouquet.

Copper​ ​is​ ​the​ ​traditional​ ​material​ ​for​ ​a​ ​9th​ ​wedding​ ​anniversary​ ​in​ ​the​ ​UK,​ ​a​ ​bunch​ ​of​ ​9​ ​copper​ ​flowers​ ​would​ ​make​ ​the​ ​perfect​ ​gift!​ ​

These​ ​little​ ​flowers​ ​are​ ​hand​ ​drawn​ ​and​ ​cut​ ​from​ ​a​ ​sheet​ ​of​ ​copper.​ ​They​ ​are​ ​then​ ​domed​ ​to​ ​create​ ​a​ ​3D​ ​shape​ ​before​ ​a​ ​stem​ ​is​ ​soldered​ ​on​ ​to​ ​them.​ ​You​ ​will​ ​be​ ​able​ ​to​ ​bend​ ​the​ ​stem​ ​slightly​ ​to​ ​help​ ​display​ ​them.​ ​

The​ ​copper​ ​will​ ​weather​ ​and​ ​develop​ ​a​ ​patina,​ ​this​ ​does​ ​add​ ​to​ ​the​ ​charm​ ​but​ ​if​ ​you​ ​want​ ​to​ ​keep​ ​the​ ​brushed​ ​finish,​ ​scrub​ ​them​ ​with​ ​an​ ​old​ ​toothbrush​ ​or​ ​brass​ ​brush​ ​in​ ​some​ ​warm​ ​soapy​ ​water.

The​ ​heads​ ​of​ ​the​ ​flowers​ ​are​ ​about​ ​2cm​ ​wide​ ​and​ ​1cm​ ​high​ ​and​ ​around​ ​15-17cm​ ​in​ ​height​ ​with​ ​the​ ​stems.​ ​This​ ​will​ ​depend​ ​on​ ​how​ ​hard​ ​it​ ​gets​ ​hit​ ​when​ ​making​ ​the​ ​dome​ ​shape​ ​so​ ​they'll​ ​all​ ​be​ ​slightly​ ​different.
